What to bring

  • At a minimum we suggest packing a towel, toiletries, food, drinks, and an extra blanket / warm clothes if the weather is looking a bit chilly.

  • BYO Food and drinks - drinking water is available from the taps in the camping area but you may wish to bring your own bottled water or a larger canister. There is a small kiosk selling coffee and light refreshments located near the reception building.

  • There is a small creek that runs through the campsite which is great for the kids to play in, or to cool off if the weather is particularly hot, so bringing swimming costumes and a beach towel can also be a good idea.

  • If rain is forecast, we suggest hiring one of our awnings to cover your outdoor table and chairs:

  • Ice and firewood can be purchased during office hours at the Glenworth Valley reception office, but please also feel free to bring your own.

CHEcking In

  • Your tent will be ready for you to check in from 3pm on the day of your arrival.

  • When you arrive at the camp site, please first follow the signs to the Glenworth Valley reception office, and they will provide you with a map and some general information about the campsite. They will also provide you with your tent number and the padlock codes for the tent doors so you can access your tent.

  • If you haven’t made your camp site booking, you will not be given your tent number and padlock codes.

    After hours check in

  • If you are arriving after Glenworth Valley reception has closed for the day (usually 5-5:30pm) then your booking and campsite information, including your tent number, tent door padlock code and directions to your tent will be left for you in the late check out box at the reception desk.

Please note that in order for Glenworth Valley to be able to finalise your glamping booking details your camping booking (separate to the tent hire booking with us) must be made with them prior to your arrival.

checking out

  • Check out is 10am.

  • Please ensure that you have washed up everything that you have used, taken all your rubbish to the camp site bins, cleaned out your cool box and left the tent in a clean and tidy condition.

  • We also ask that you close all of the windows and doors and lock your tent when you leave.

WET WEATHER TIPS

Everyone hopes for sunny skies when they are camping or enjoying an experience in the outdoors. If there is substantial rain, please close your tents windows and doors. Please also ensure your belongings are kept away from and not touching the canvas of the tent - moisture can transfer easily to clothing, bags and beds if they are too close to the sides of the tent when it is wet.
