Stay with us in an exclusive area away from the main campsite, a short walk along the rainforest boardwalk to stunning Cellito Beach. With access to the main campsite amenities, there is also a 9 hole golf course just a stone’s throw from where our tents will be set up.
Please note we will not be setting up at Sandbar for Easter or the April 2024 School Holidays.
We have set up our own exclusive glamping area at this campsite, and here you are guaranteed a unique and secluded camping experience.
This unique camping experience will have you located in a grassy area surrounded by trees, approximately 300m away from the general campsite.
We are supplying boutique mobile bathroom units just for for our guests, with flushing toilets and hot water showers.
Please note that we are a separate business to the campsite, and our hire rates do not include your campsite fees. All of our guests must make a separate camping booking and pay their campsite fees. More info on campsite fees can be found further down this page.

We have a 2 night minimum stay during school holidays.
We have a 3 night minimum stay on the Easter Long Weekend
Rates start at $250/night for 2 people in a tent.
Please note, we have a 2 night minimum for weekends and stays during school holidays, and a 3 night minimum on long weekends.
$250 per night (2 people / queen bed) + $25 per additional child / $50 per additional adult
Says of up to 4 nights can be made directly through the link below. For longer stays, two bookings can be made e.g for a 5 night stay, a 3 night booking & 2 night booking for consecutive nights.
CAMPsite FEES:
Campsite fees are also payable to the campground when making a booking for this site. We pay these fees on to the campsite, and handle your booking with them to make the booking process as hassle-free as possible. Please note that campsite fees are not included in our rates, and you will need to make a separate campsite booking while going through the booking process.
Campsite fees are $50/night for 2 people, $25/night for additional adults and $15/night for kids 5-15 years.

Each individual tent is supplied with the following:
5 metre bell tent set up and ready for your arrival
Persian rugs and door mat inside and wooden entrance mat outside
Each tent is set up with Queen inner spring mattress as standard on a timber bed base
Option to add up to 3 single camping mattresses per tent (fees apply)
Fresh cotton sheets and pillow cases, duck down pillows, quilt and quilt cover
2 burner gas cooker, gas bottle
Cookware – pot, pan, tongs, spatula, wooden spoon, bbq scraper, billy, sharp cutting knives, chopping boards and tea towel
Metal camping plates and cups, cutlery
60L Coolbox
Outdoor table and chairs
Wooden storage chest, washing up tub, brush and detergent
Fire starting kits and metal fire pit (firewood not supplied)
Lighting - Solar powered fairy lights hung from your tent door and a battery powered lantern
What to Bring
Ice for the coolbox and firewood is available at the campsite office during office hours, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
BYO Food and drinks - drinking water is available from the taps in the camping area.
As camping can be cool at night, we advise you bring warm clothes, and warm pyjamas with you.
Sunblock, a hat, long sleeved shirts for during the day are also advised.
Toiletries
Beach gear, surfboards, fishing gear, golf clubs, bicycles, kayaks etc.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Check in: 3pm / Check out: 10am. Guests are free to arrive at Sandbar earlier, or to stay on to enjoy the beach, golf or activities after checking out of their tent. We only ask that you remove your bags etc from the tent so that our staff can do their thing for our next guests.
Available tents: 10
Max people per tent: 4 adults OR 2 adults and 3 children
Tents are fitted with a Queen size bed and additional single beds can be added to this. We cannot make exceptions to this.
Bookings must be paid in full in order to be finalised.
Bookings will still run if it is raining. Our tents are waterproof.
Simple Pleasures does not refund upon cancellation. Stays are transferable to another name. Dates can be changed within the same 12 month period dependant on availability.
A minimum of 7 days notice is required for any changes. All changes & transfers are at our discretion.
No cancellations/transfers during peak periods

Quiet time from 10pm - please respect our other guests
No smoking in tents, cooking area or glamping area
No loud/offensive behaviour - we reserve the right to ask you to leave - such action is non-refundable
