The Wanderer Package - Glenworth Valley

This package is perfect for campers who don’t want to be set up in our glamping village, or are wanting to be set up with other people who are bringing their own tents, and would still like to leave the hard work to us. By booking this package you can all be set up together in the general camping area.

Please note that this package is NOT for the designated glamping area or our “Glamping Village”, and does not include the same items that are included in our glamping village package which you may have seen advertised elsewhere on our website.

If you are camping with friends or as part of a group, please be sure to let us know the booking name or Glenworth booking reference number by leaving a comment in the “Anything else” section when making your booking. This will help us to ensure your tent will be set up in the correct area.

Please note that we are a separate business to the campsite, and our hire rates do not include your campsite fees. All of our guests must make a separate camping booking and pay campsite fees with Glenworth Valley on 4375 1222.

Please do not make a booking for dates when we are not available, as this will need to be cancelled & this incurs processing fees.

THE WANDERER PACKAGE INCLUSIONS:

This package is a little different to our Glamping Village, as it is designed as a more mobile option to be set up specifically for your booking within the general campsite in the area Glenworth Valley has allocated you or your group to.

Please see below for what is included if you choose to book our WANDERER package, that will be set up in the General Camping Area:

  • 1 x queen innerspring mattress or 2 x single innerspring mattresses

  • Option to add additional single mattresses

  • Beds fully made up with fresh cotton sheets, goose down pillows, quilts and quilt covers

  • Persian rugs and door mat inside

  • Hardwood entrance deck outside

  • 2 x Battery powered lanterns

  • Solar fairy lights hung from tent door

  • Wooden tent numbering

  • Outdoor table and chairs.

Check in: from 3pm

Check out: 10am

OUR RATES:

Rates listed are per tent, and starting price is for up to 2 people. Our tents accommodate a maximum of 4 adults per tent or 2 adults and 3 children per tent.

Please note that this package has a 2 night minimum.

$440 for 2 people (2 nights)

Additional children $50 each (covers 2 nights)

Additional adults - $100 each (covers 2 nights)

Additional nights (after first 2 nights) - $150/night per tent (covers all guests in the tent)

Each additional child / adult will be provided with a single bed, made up with sheets, pillows and doona, and a camping chair.

Please select a bedding configuration which matches the number of people you have selected in your booking. E.g. if you have booked and paid for 2 adults and select the bedding option of Queen and 2 singles (4 people), you will not be provided with additional single beds.

LONG WEEKENDS:

We have a 3 night minimum on long weekends.

We have a 3 night minimum on the following dates:

Australia Day Long Weekend, 2024 - Thursday January 25 - Checking out Sunday January 28th (please note all stays must be a minimum of 3 nights and must stay all 3 nights of Thursday, Friday & Saturday). THESE DATES ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED.

Easter Long Weekend, 2024 - Friday March 29 - Checking out Monday April 1 (please note all stays must be a minimum of 3 nights and must stay all 3 nights of Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

June Long Weekend, 2024 - Friday June 7 - Checking out Monday June 10 (please note all stays must be a minimum of 3 nights and must stay all 3 nights of Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

October Long Weekend, 2024 - Friday October 4 - Checking out Monday October 7 (please note all stays must be a minimum of 3 nights and must stay all 3 nights of Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

CAMP SITE FEES:

A separate camp site booking must also be made with Glenworth Valley.

Please note that camp site fees are not included in our rates, and that your camp site must be booked and paid for at least 48hrs in advance to your date of check in.

Non peak periods, camp fees are $30 per adult per night / $15 per child per night

Peak periods, camp fees are $35 per adult per night / $17.50 per child per night

REFUNDABLE CLEANING DEPOSIT:

A $50 cleaning deposit is taken at the time of booking. This will be fully refunded after your stay if all tents are left locked, clean of all food and rubbish, and there is no damage beyond reasonable wear and tear to equipment.

For bookings less than 48hrs away, please contact us before booking to confirm availability. Please check the UNAVAILABLE DATES below before booking.

GROUP BOOKINGS

*Our booking system allows you to book one tent at a time - unless all of your tents have the same number of adults and children, then you can just enter how many tents you want in the “QUANTITY” box.

For multiple tent bookings, you will need to enter each tent configuration individually, but they can be paid for with one payment by doing the following:

Step 1 - make a selection from ALL of the drop down menus for your first tent, then click “PURCHASE”

Step 2 - you will then be prompted to fill in your CHECK IN and CHECK OUT dates and your bedding set up - then click “PURCHASE” again

Step 3 - you will then see your selection displayed in your shopping cart

Step 4 - If you would like to book more tents, click the back arrow in your browser, then repeat the previous steps until you see your next tent in your shopping cart with your first tent purchase.

You can then repeat these steps as many times as necessary, and then you can pay for all of your tents in one payment.

Please note that tents requesting to be set up together must all be booked for the same nights in order for us to be able to allocate tents together. For example, a tent booked for one night may not be able to be set up next to other tents who have booked for two nights.

If you are camping as part of a group, please be sure to let us know the group’s booking name and any other information you can which will enable us to set up with the group. It is important to note that if we are not advised by you before set up of your tent, we may have no way of knowing you are part of a group and may not be able to have you set up with them.

AWNING HIRE:

Our awnings add additional shade or rain protection over your outdoor table and chairs which will allow you utilise your outdoor space no matter what the weather is like during your stay.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Check in: 3pm / Check out: 10am.

  • Guests are free to arrive at Glenworth Valley earlier, or to stay on to enjoy the valley or activities after checking out of their tent

  • This package is specifically for tents in the general camping area - your tent will NOT be set up inside the Glamping Village

  • Max people per tent: 4 adults OR 2 adults and 3 children

  • Tents are set up with a Queen size bed OR 2 x single beds and additional single beds can be added to this.

  • Bookings must be paid in full in order to be finalised. Once a booking has been made and paid for it is subject to the terms & conditions listed here.

  • Bookings will still run if it is raining. Our tents are waterproof.

  • Additional shade/rain cover for your outdoor area can be hired. Please check the link in the page above.

  • We do not offer refunds for cancellation of a booking.

  • Stays are transferable to another name.

  • Dates can be changed within the same 12 month period dependant on availability.

  • A minimum 7 days notice is required for any changes or transfers

  • All changes / transfers are at our discretion.

  • No cancellations or transfer for bookings during peak periods. Credited bookings can not be transferred to a peak or school holiday period. Midweek bookings cannot be transferred to a weekend.

  • Pets not permitted

  • Quiet time from 10pm - please respect our other guests

  • No smoking in tents, cooking area or glamping area

  • No loud/offensive behaviour - we reserve the right to ask you to leave - such action is non-refundable

  • In the unlikely case of “force majeure” (emergency warnings for events such as bushfires, floods etc.) and travel restrictions due to Covid-19, any guests whose stays are directly affected will be issued with a credit for another stay of equal value at a later date. We understand that some stays are date sensitive, such as for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays etc., but events such as this are out of anyone’s control and we have adopted this policy in the interest of fairness to all parties.

  • We are no longer able to make exceptions to our booking policy for circumstances that arise due to Covid-19. Covid-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected, and there are no longer restrictions in place for those who have Covid. If a guest’s stay needs to be postponed due to the guest’s Covid situation, please understand that providing a credit at short notice impacts substantially on our business, and that any credit provided can only be rebooked on midweek dates at a time that is not on a weekend, peak period or during school holidays.

  • If your stay is already underway and needs to be cut short by evacuation due to events out of our control, please understand that we have already undertaken the work to set up for your stay, and no refund or credit will be provided in such cases

  • Credits and/or transfers provided for any reason must be redeemed within 12 months from the date of issue and are subject to availability unless we have advised otherwise.
