Sandbar & Bushland Holiday Parks and Golf Course - 3434 The Lakes Way, Pacific Palms NSW 2428
CHECKING IN
Check in is from 3pm onwards on the day of your arrival. We ask that guests ensure they arrive and check in before 10pm, so that our other campers are not disturbed late at night. The glamping area is a quiet location reserved for our guests, so late arrivals can be disruptive after quiet time (10pm).
We will let you know your tent number and tent door padlock code for your booking on the day of your booking, as well as the door lock code for the toilets and showers.
Turn off The Lakes Way about 100 metres North of the turn off to Smiths Lake (Macwood Rd) and take the next right to Sandbar Campground - it's a dirt road. Follow the road for about 2km until you come to a left turn to the golf course and Cellito Beach - take the left turn to come to where your tent is located, where you can check yourself in. The other way (continuing straight) leads to the campground reception so if you want to go there keep following the road straight - ice and firewood can be purchased there during office hours.
You will come to the glamping area on the right, opposite the golf course. This is the entrance to the area that our tents are set up in and you should be able to see some of our tents by now. Enter through the gate into the glamping area.
There are 9 tents in the glamping area - Tents numbered 1-4 are to the right of the road (opposite bathrooms) and tents numbered 5-9 are to the left - on the raised grass behind the bathrooms.
Please do not drive on the grass. Be careful in the wet as it can be easy to get stuck in the wet grass if you have a small car. Park on the gravel area where the 4 bathroom blocks are.
Please take care and stay on the gravel areas, as the grass is easy to get bogged in! If there has been rain in the lead up or during your stay, the grass might look ok but it’s very slippery...
You will see the toilet block next to the central parking area for our guests. There is a tap with water for drinking, cooking and washing up located next to the showers.
There are spare gas bottles located behind the bathrooms - if your gas for the cooker runs out please feel free to use one of the spares.
There is also a small toilet block at the entrance to the golf course car park, as well as the amenities available in the general camping area of the campground.

CHECKING OUT
Check out is 10am.
Please ensure that you have washed up everything that you have used, taken all your rubbish to the camp site bins, cleaned out your cool box and left the tent in a tidy manner - this will ensure that your cleaning deposit is refunded after your stay.
We also ask that you close all of the windows and doors and lock your tent when you leave.
WHAT TO BRING
Food & Drink, Ice & Firewood!
At a minimum we suggest packing a towel, toiletries, food, drinks, an extra blanket and warm clothes if the weather is looking a bit chilly.
If there is a bit of rain around, we suggest bringing a pop up marquee to cover your outdoor table / chairs / kitchen. We are providing sun umbrellas for shade which will provide some shelter from light rain.
There is a Foodworks and service station located at Charlotte Bay about 10 minutes from the campsite, or you can do all your shopping at the supermarkets in Forster where there is a Stocklands complex which has a Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and Bunnings. Forster is about 30 minutes from Cellito Beach.
Please be aware that the campsite is unpowered. We recommend you bring power banks to charge devices, or simply charging in the car during the days.
If there is substantial rain, please close your tents windows and doors. Please also ensure your belongings are kept away from and not touching the canvas of the tent - moisture can transfer easily to clothing, bags and beds if they are too close to the sides of the tent when it is wet.
Please respect other guests and keep music speakers and other noise to a minimum.
CAMPFIRES
Please ensure that your campfire is contained to the metal fire pits we have provided for your tent. Never leave campfires unattended and please do not dispose of charcoal or embers on the grass or under trees and bushes. There is a serious risk of bushfires spreading in bush land areas.
